Booked into the clinic for an ultrasound to see what was going on. Michael did the scan and perfectly explained different options in terms of injections into my knee. I left with all the literature so that i could make an informed decision. I decided to go ahead with a hyaluronic acid injection. This was done by Andy within a couple of days. Three weeks have passed and i am so happy i had it done. The improvement is unbelievable. I have no pain for the first time in years.which is a godsend. I am so thankful to Michael and Andy. I waited a year+ to be referred by my GP to an NHS pain clinic then waited another year for an assessment - someone with a ‘hobby’ in pain relief called me and bounced me from one medication to another, none of them worked. I sacked them. Found the Arthritis clinic, in person assessment with Michael, problem diagnosed really quickly and treatment started, treatment already effective and much improvement seen and quality of life already much improved after only a few treatments. Prior to going to my GP I had spent a small fortune on various over the counter treatments and was considering the purchase of a motorised wheelchair to get to places I love to visit I could no longer walk to. I had a choice of options and was given clear information when deciding what to go for.
